Big Safety Milestone for TEI Group

Great news! This weekend marked a major milestone. TEI Group’s Construction and Modernization departments have BOTH now gone over one year without an injury.

“One year injury free for the entire Modernization and Construction departments is an amazing achievement. A safety record like this is no accident! It takes commitment and focus at every level, every day. Outstanding job, team! Keep up the great work,” says Director of Environmental Health and Safety Mike Luraschi.

TEI is thankful for all of its employees for the effort that they put into buildings throughout the city, while working safely. Without the consistent dedication of these field technicians, TEI would not be able to provide top-notch comprehensive services across the board. Making one year without injury in these departments demonstrates not only the diligence of our technicians and leadership but also unity in mission and vision throughout the workforce.

"One year without injuries is truly a great accomplishment,” says VP of Modernization and Construction John Rose. “It speaks volumes of our leaders - Ray Downs (Recently Retired SVP of EH&S) & Mike Luraschi (Director of EH&S), Superintendents Joe Brown, Paul DiPaola, Rob LaBarbera, and project foremen who have helped create a culture that embraces and prioritizes safety. Most of all it is a reflection of our field personnel - they perform an inherently dangerous job daily and make the conscious decision to work safe. As much as this is a team accomplishment, it would not be possible without every individual doing their part to work safely and hold each other accountable."
